Physician- Part-Time Hospitalist with Mercy in Northwest Arkansas
Join an established group of hospitalist physicians working a 7 on/7 off schedule with 12 hour shifts, including day rounding and rotating admit/night shifts with an opportunity for a nocturnist position. The role involves managing an open ICU model with critical care coverage and encourages procedural skills, supported by subspecialty teams and academic engagement with the Alice Walton School of Medicine and Internal Medicine residency program.
Key Responsibilities
- • Join an established experienced group of hospitalist physicians
- • Work 7 on/7 off schedule, 12 hour shifts
- • Day rounder and rotating admit/night shifts; Opportunity for nocturnist position
- • Manage open ICU model with Critical Care coverage
- • Perform procedures (not required but encouraged)
- • Utilize subspecialty support available
- • Actively participate in teaching with the Alice Walton School of Medicine and Internal Medicine residency program
- • Use System Wide Epic EHR
Required
- • Board certified/board eligible Internal Medicine Hospitalist
- • Experience in ICU management needed
