This Privacy Policy explains how Mozibox, LLC ("Mozibox," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use Mozibox websites, applications, and related services (the "Services"). The Services are designed for users in the United States. We do not currently tailor the Services for non-US users or jurisdictions outside the United States.

Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, and limited information from third-party services you choose to connect.
Account and Profile Information
We may collect your name, email address, role, specialty, training or career stage, job preferences, saved jobs, and other profile information you choose to provide.
Resume and Career Data
If you upload or build a resume, we collect resume files, parsed resume text, structured resume data, career goals, work history, education, skills, certifications, and related information needed to provide resume, job matching, and career assistant features.
Job, Applicant, and Hiring Data
If you apply to jobs, submit screening responses, interact with employers or recruiters, post jobs, draft job descriptions, review applicants, or use hiring tools, we collect the information needed to provide those workflows. Application and screening information may be shared with the employer, recruiter, or hiring user associated with the relevant opportunity.
Salary Survey Data
If you submit salary survey data, we collect compensation details, specialty, practice setting, years of experience, geographic region, employment type, work arrangement, contract information, and related negotiation context. Individual salary submissions are anonymized before being included in aggregated salary reports. Aggregated salary data may be shared publicly or with partners for research, benchmarking, and informational purposes.
Payment Information
Subscription and payment transactions are processed through Stripe. Mozibox does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials. We may store subscription status, plan type, billing period, Stripe customer IDs, and transaction references to manage paid features.
Communications
We collect information you send to us, including support requests, feedback, messages, email preferences, newsletter signups, and communication delivery or engagement events.
Analytics and Device Information
We use analytics tools, including Ahoy and Google Analytics, to understand usage patterns and improve the Services. This may include IP address, approximate location, device type, browser, operating system, pages visited, actions taken, referral source, UTM parameters, timestamps, and session information.
Google and Microsoft Login
If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we may receive account identifiers and basic profile information, such as your name, email address, and profile picture where provided. We do not post to your Google or Microsoft account or access other Google or Microsoft services on your behalf.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Coaching Directory
The coaching and mentorship directory is powered by Mozicare. If you contact a coach through the platform, your contact information may be shared with that coach.
Protected Health Information
Mozibox is not intended to collect protected health information about patients. Please do not submit patient records, patient identifiers, or other patient health information to the Services.
How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
- Create and manage accounts, profiles, resumes, job preferences, applications, and hiring workflows.
- Personalize job recommendations, job alerts, career tools, and hiring tools.
- Process salary survey submissions and produce anonymized or aggregated compensation insights.
- Operate AI-assisted features and related platform operations.
- Send transactional emails, job alerts, newsletters, marketing communications, and service updates.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems.
- Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Mozibox, users, and others.
AI Processing
Mozibox uses AI service providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic, to operate and improve AI-assisted features on the platform.
When you use AI-assisted features, Mozibox may send relevant user-provided content and account context to an AI provider for processing. This may include resume text, profile information, job preferences, chat messages, hiring messages, job draft content, applicant screening details, and related platform content. Public job listing content and company information may also be processed for platform operations; public job listing content is not treated as your personal data unless it is processed together with user-specific information.
Mozibox uses commercial API services from these providers, which do not use submitted data for training purposes unless Mozibox separately opts in or submits data for that purpose. OpenAI and Anthropic process data according to their respective privacy policies and commercial/API data usage policies.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, and site functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling cookies may affect parts of the Services.
How We Share Information
We may share personal information in the following ways:
- Employers, recruiters, and hiring users: When you apply to a job or participate in a hiring workflow, relevant application and screening information may be shared with the party associated with that opportunity.
- Coaches: If you contact a coach through the coaching directory, your contact information may be shared with that coach.
- Service providers: We use providers to operate, secure, and improve the Services. Categories include AI processing providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic; hosting, storage, CDN, security, and infrastructure providers such as DigitalOcean, AWS, Cloudflare, and Supabase; payment processors such as Stripe; email and communications providers such as SendGrid, Brevo, and Mailchimp; analytics providers such as Google Analytics; and authentication providers such as Google and Microsoft.
- Aggregated or anonymized information: We may share aggregated or anonymized information, including salary survey insights and platform usage trends, where the information does not identify you.
- Legal, safety, and business purposes: We may share information when needed to comply with law, respond to legal process, prevent fraud or abuse, protect rights and safety, enforce our terms, or complete a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
Email Communications
Mozibox uses email and communications providers, including SendGrid, Brevo, and Mailchimp, to send transactional emails, job alerts, newsletters, and marketing communications. You can manage your email preferences or unsubscribe from marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or through your account settings where available.
Data Retention and Account Deletion
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and operate our business.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at info@mozibox.com or through your account settings where available. Upon account deletion:
- Your profile, resumes, job preferences, saved jobs, and related account data will be deleted from active systems where applicable.
- Your salary survey submissions may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form.
- Your email address will be unsubscribed from marketing lists and removed from email and communications providers where applicable.
- Your Stripe subscription, if any, will be canceled, and Stripe may retain transaction records according to its retention policies.
- Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before being purged.
- Content you published publicly or shared with others may be retained in anonymized form or as needed to preserve platform integrity.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to request that we:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information.
- Provide access to personal information we maintain about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
- Opt you out of certain communications or processing where required by law.

US State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to know or access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, correct inaccurate information, delete information, obtain a portable copy of information, and opt out of certain processing where required by law.
The categories of personal information we may collect include identifiers; account, profile, resume, professional, education, employment, commercial, internet or network activity, approximate location, communications, inference, and payment-related information; and other information you provide or generate through use of the Services.
We collect this information from you, from your use of the Services, from employers, recruiters, coaches, service providers, authentication providers, and other sources you choose to connect or interact with. We use and share these categories of information for the purposes described in this policy.
We do not sell personal information. If a state privacy law treats certain analytics or advertising disclosures as a "sale," "share," or use for targeted advertising, you may have the right to opt out of that processing. Mozibox does not currently use personal information for third-party behavioral advertising.
To exercise state privacy rights, contact us at info@mozibox.com. We may need to verify your identity and request enough information to match you to an account or record. If we deny a request and applicable law gives you appeal rights, you may appeal by replying to our decision or contacting us again at the same email address.
Do Not Track
Some browsers provide a Do Not Track signal. Because there is not a common industry standard for how to interpret or respond to these signals, Mozibox does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.
Children
The Services are not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice through the Services or by email.
