Chief Medical Officer - South Florida Baptist Hospital Summary

Management person primarily responsible for working with the medical staff to develop and implement policies and procedures to achieve the health system and medical staff's mutual interests and responsibility for quality assurance, appropriate utilization review, process improvement teams, credentialing and appointment of physicians. Acts as an advocate of health system and medical staff interests with external payers, accreditors and regulatory agencies and will coordinate the development of documentation and presentation to support the health system and medical staffs positions before these agencies.

Required

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensure

Florida Medical License within 6 months

Education

Required Doctorate - Medical; Or - Doctorate - Osteopathic Medicine; Preferred Masters - Healthcare Administration; Preferred Masters - Business Administration

Experience

Clinical Experience - Minimum 10 years Executive Leadership Experience - Minimum 2 years Preferred experience is 2 years VP Medical Affairs or CMO.

Shift Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
