The Opportunity:

We are seeking highly skilled, values-driven, and compassionate physicians to join Ovatient’s virtual multi-specialty practice. You will make a difference in the lives of our patients by providing high-quality, integrated primary care services through video visits, team-based care, and asynchronous communication. As a clinician at Ovatient, you will play a crucial role in our Virtual Patient Centered Medical Home built on Epic, allowing you the ability to provide patients and our partners with care that is connected and emphasizes continuity. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, help incorporate health promotion and prevention, and partner with both our behavioral health and urgent care team and their services as a shared, integrated practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver excellent, personalized, and compassionate virtual primary care, integrated with behavioral health, through video visits, team-based care, digital health tools such as remote patient monitoring, and asynchronous visits. Offer guidance and education to patients on their health questions and concerns. Collaborate with specialists, behavioral health providers, and other healthcare professionals in our integrated care model. Serve as a collaborating physician for APPs, providing supervision and support as required by state regulations. This includes providing guidance to other medical professionals on our team, instilling our high standards of patient care and creating a nurturing learning environment. Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols. Engage with our health-conscious community by providing health education in visits and via webinars, Q&As, and health content creation. Your role will be instrumental in shaping a positive, supportive, and health-focused environment for all patients. Provide cross-coverage between primary and urgent care settings as needed.

Qualifications:

MD or DO with board certification in a primary care specialty. Active, unrestricted medical license (with support from Ovatient to obtain licenses in Ohio, South Carolina, and additional states, as necessary). At least 5 years of post-residency clinical experience in delivering primary care, complex care, weigh management, or chronic care management. Demonstrated experience and expertise in telemedicine and virtual care, including the ability to integrate behavioral health as part of an essential part of your practice. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Strong proficiency and comfort with using technology to support the delivery of virtual care in a remote setting and coordination with in-person care settings. Location:

Although this is a remote role, you may be required to attend in-person meetings or training from time to time.
