Description
The Chief Medical Officer Leads and supervises all medical activities and professionals on behalf of the organization. Ensures the highest standards of care, compliance, and clinical quality across all sites.
Pay Scale: $275,000 – $300,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
General Accountabilities
Develops and implements the strategic plan for the organization
Leads initiatives to increase provider and patient satisfaction
Stays current with clinical trends and evolving care models to optimize quality
Engages with suppliers, staff, and patients to collect feedback for process improvement
Provides strategic and operational clinical leadership to internal teams
Reports on clinical performance metrics and financial impact to executives
Ensures compliance with government regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies
Partners with medical and administrative leadership to maintain clinical standards
Oversees physician onboarding and ongoing training on facility protocols
Supervises the medical staff and manages organizational health programs

Job Qualifications:
Education
Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.)
Experience
Minimum 5 years of leadership in clinical settings or healthcare administration
Certifications
Board certification in a medical specialty
