Title: Pulmonologist/Medical Director - Pulmonary Rehabilitation (Telehealth / Contract)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area

Type: Per diem/contract, telehealth (work from home)

Estimated time commitment: 10-20 hours/month


We are seeking a pulmonologist located in the SF/Bay Area to join our team and collaborate with existing medicals directors at Kivo Health. Kivo Health is a leading provider of virtual pulmonary rehabilitation partnering with health systems and payers. As a medical director, you will collaborate with our existing team of pulmonologists/medical directors to oversee clinical care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Provide medical oversight and guidance for our virtual pulmonary rehabilitation program.

- Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care.

- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.

- Stay current on the latest advancements in pulmonary rehabilitation and contribute to the development of new treatment modalities.

- Serve as a clinical resource for our staff and provide mentorship and support as needed.


Qualifications:

- Medical degree and board certification in Pulmonary Medicine.

- MUST be located in the SF/Bay Area

- Active medical license in the state of CA. Additional licenses in other states are a plus. Must be willing to get licensed in additional states.

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Experience with telehealth or virtual care is a plus

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
