Job Summary:


We currently have an opportunity in our Northeast region. Our ideal candidate will reside in IL, IN, OH, PA MD, or MA. The Medical Science Liaison acts as a crucial role in Medical Affairs, working closely with both existing and prospective clients, Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, and Lab Operations. This role operates as part of an exclusive field-based team of experts that engages with healthcare professionals in all fields of specialty and is expected to provide in-depth scientific, clinical, and educational support to external healthcare professionals, as well as to internal clinical, sales, and marketing teams. In addition, the MSL provides clinical insights back to Lab Operations management. Frequent travel is a key component of this role (75%).


Essential Responsibilities/Duties:


Field based meetings - Presents approved scientific data of a basic level to healthcare providers in both group and one-on-one settings in accordance with Company Policies, and applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Including tailoring messages for a given audience while presenting complex material. Demonstrates appropriate response and documents the provision of accurate, laboratory result review and scientific data in response to questions or requests posed by healthcare providers for approved Products in accordance with Company Policies, and applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Serves as a clinical resource for clients and the sales representatives and accurately answers any clinical or scientific question they may have to help them utilize their approved materials and to help them understand diagnostic issues for their background use. Works closely in collaboration with the field team to ensure that the primary services receive sound field based clinical support consistent with the brand medical strategy. In accordance with company strategy, develops and maintains contacts with external experts to further understand and gain insight into diagnostic testing patterns and scientific activities taking place within the Specialty Area. Establish and maintains excellent relationships with all stakeholders. Collaborates with the scientific leadership & marketing teams to develop accurate clinical content to include in client facing materials. Seek ways to increase value to the client.


Qualifications:


Education –

MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, PA-C, DMSc, or equivalent.

Experience –
