Ascension is currently seeking a Vice President – Acute Clinical Care to join our leadership team. This is a key role focused on driving clinical excellence, operational effectiveness, and strategic growth across our acute care services.

Responsibilities

Ensures the highest levels of patient care, quality and safety are met. Creates and executes strategic plans to optimize performance outcomes. Participates in development of the organization's vision, policies and short/long-term objectives. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and recommends cost effective and efficient solutions. Recognizes and addresses areas of over and redundant spending. Provides advisory/consultative services to improve the patient’s experience. Decreases clinical and operational variation in the ministries. Collaborates with the organization's analytics team to develop a robust acute clinical care metrics reporting system for operational improvement and growth. Focuses on culture as a key driver for improved satisfaction, efficiency, and utilization. Evaluates contracted services for Return On Investment (ROI), scalability, and applicability across all markets.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Physician MD/DO obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
