We are seeking a Urology Subject-Matter Expert to support a high-impact academic evaluation project. In this role, you will review, validate, and refine graduate-level questions that assess AI model understanding in urological diseases, clinical procedures, diagnostic frameworks, and surgical/interventional decision-making. Your clinical expertise will ensure these assessments' accuracy, medical relevance, and educational rigor.

Question Review & Validation

Assess the clarity, correctness, and clinical relevance of questions covering:

• Urological anatomy and physiology

• Genitourinary disorders (e.g., BPH, urolithiasis, prostate cancer)

• Diagnostic criteria (e.g., AUA/EAU guidelines)

• Surgical indications and techniques (e.g., TURP, cystoscopy, nephrectomy)

• Clinical pharmacology in urology

Scenario Evaluation

Review clinical case-based questions involving:

• Patient history and examination

• Imaging and laboratory interpretation (e.g., PSA, urinalysis)

• Treatment planning and interventions (e.g., medical vs. surgical)

• Postoperative care and complications

Evidence-Based Research

Cross-reference content with:

• Current urology guidelines (e.g., AUA, EAU, NCCN)

• Peer-reviewed literature

• Standard urology textbooks (e.g., Campbell-Walsh-Wein)

Feedback & Justification

Provide structured written feedback explaining:

• Corrections or refinements to questions

• Rationale based on best practices and current literature

• Alignment with graduate-level expectations and board standards

Quality Monitoring

Ensure each test item:

• Applies sound clinical reasoning

• Includes distinct, justifiable answer choices

• Complies with item metadata and tagging requirements

Ideal Qualifications:

• MD with specialization in Urology

• Robust academic foundation in urological surgery, diagnostics, and therapeutics

• Familiarity with clinical assessments, treatment algorithms, and guidelines

• Experience in medical education, exam preparation, or clinical instruction

• Excellent written communication and attention to detail

Minimum Qualifications:

• Advanced medical degree (MD or DO) in Urology or related surgical specialty

• 2+ years of clinical or academic experience

• Strong ability to evaluate clinical content for accuracy and clarity

• Comfort with literature review and academic feedback
