Collaborative Physician


We are seeking a highly skilled and responsible physician to serve as the credentialing and collaborating physician for our mobile wound care services. The physician must reside full-time within the state of Alabama and be eligible for insurance credentialing. Malpractice coverage, including tail coverage, is provided.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide collaborative practice and prescriptive authority for a small panel of Nurse Practitioners Conduct chart reviews, cosign relevant documentation, and ensure timely completion of all associated documentation Ensure adherence to clinical best practices and legal medical guidelines Maintain active licensure and board certification, upholding the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality


Qualifications:

Proven experience as a practicing physician, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a remote capacity Current active medical licensure within the applicable state Comprehensive understanding of legal medical guidelines and industry best practices Superior written communication skills, with a high level of professionalism in documentation Strong commitment to ethical medical practice and patient confidentiality Compassionate, approachable, and trustworthy demeanor, with a patient-centered approach Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) with active AL medical license Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Must be able to supervise at least 120 CRNP hours Preference for physicians who reside in AL and are not currently engaged in other collaborative agreements within the state, ensuring streamlined credentialing and focused commitment to this role
