Full Job Description

About Radiatric – Disrupting Drug-Resistant Infection Treatment

Radiatric is a medical device company pioneering a novel light-based treatment platform designed to combat multi-drug-resistant organisms (MDROs) and reduce mortality from sepsis - two of the most urgent global health threats today.

Using photodynamic technology, our extracorporeal device targets proteins, including porphyrin found in bacteria and fungi, causing their death while leaving blood cells unharmed. It’s fast-acting, unlikely to see resistance formation, and built for scalable use in hospitals, high-risk care settings, and even field environments.

Why This Matters

Each year in the U.S. alone:

3 million+ MDRO infections cause ~160,000 deaths 1.7 million sepsis cases result in ~350,000 deaths Globally, 11 million lives are lost to sepsis every year — many driven by antibiotic resistance.

Radiatric is developing a first-of-its-kind medical device designed to safely treat bloodstream infections, even those caused by MDROs, without relying on antibiotics, filling a dangerous treatment gap with a scalable, tech-enabled solution. Antibiotic drugs could be used in conjunction with the device. It could also be used as an adjunctive treatment with Dialysis or ECMO.
