Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, board-certified physician with established experience in obesity medicine to join our growing team remotely. You will work within an interdisciplinary care model alongside other physicians, dietitians, nurse practitioners, and exercise specialists to deliver personalized weight management plans for patients, including the use of anti-obesity medications such as GLP-1s.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct telemedicine visits to evaluate and manage patients seeking obesity and metabolic health support Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and patient preferences Prescribe and manage anti-obesity medications, including GLP-1s, when appropriate Monitor lab work, body composition metrics, and progress toward weight and health goals Provide counseling on behavior change, nutrition, physical activity, and sleep hygiene Collaborate with care team members to ensure holistic, coordinated support Document care in our integrated EHR and contribute to outcomes reporting Participate in regular team huddles and clinical quality improvement effortsQualifications
MD or DO, board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, or Obesity Medicine ABOM certification strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain if not already certified) Active, unrestricted medical license in one or more U.S. states (multi-state licensure a plus) Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with 2+ years focused in obesity medicine or metabolic health Experience with telemedicine and digital health platforms preferred Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care Passionate about addressing the obesity epidemic with empathy and evidence-based careWhat We Offer
