This board-certified physician collaborates with on-site primary care teams to evaluate, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular conditions via secure telemedicine platforms. The Cardiologist ensures clinical excellence, continuity of care, and adherence to evidence-based practices while navigating the unique challenges of a correctional setting. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options.

Minimum Qualifications

Degrees/School Education:

Doctor of Medicine: M.D. or D.O.

Licenses & Certifications

Texas Medical Board: Must hold a valid Texas license to practice medicine and be registered as a physician in the State of Texas. Must meet all credential criteria. Board-certified Cardiologist: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiology Fellowship Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA): Must remain active throughout your employment.
