The Professor of Pathology for the DCOM shall have the primary responsibility for teaching general pathology, systemic pathology and histology in accordance with LMU-DCOM approved curriculum and for scholarly activity. They shall be held accountable for these obligations as they contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department.

Required Qualifications

MD or DO, must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, able to be licensed in Tennessee within the first-year of hire date by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination/Tennessee Medical State Board; unrestricted Tennessee license; or a PhD in pathology with experience teaching histology and systemic pathology.

Coordinate the process for annual evaluations for departmental faculty by assisting with completion of Faculty Evaluation Report and staff evaluations;
