About the Job

As a Medical Director, you will serve as a scientific expert and strategic partner, providing in-depth knowledge of assigned brands and therapeutic areas to inform brand communications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, represent the medical perspective, and support client relationships, while staying up-to-date on the latest scientific research and industry trends to drive business growth.


A Day in the Life

  • Lead discussions with internal teams, clients, and HCPs to achieve strategic brand objectives
  • Develop medical backgrounders to educate teams on disease states, clinical trials, and competitive sets
  • Ensure accurate representation of medical aspects in content creation and client interactions
  • Establish rapport with client medical teams to facilitate discussions and ensure accuracy
  • Monitor relevant literature and provide insights to internal teams and clients
  • Contribute to business development through medical backgrounders, research, and pitch materials, while supporting team onboarding and client management


What You Will Need

  • Advanced degree (MS, MD, PhD, PharmD) and 2+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to clearly explain medical concepts to diverse audience
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with ability to build relationships and manage workflows effective
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to develop high-quality medical communications content, present projects to clients, and create strategic content aligned with product strategy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software
