Summary
Responsible for overseeing and directing all policy and operational aspects of SummaCare’s medical and clinical activities, including, but not limited to, quality improvement, utilization management & care coordination, pharmacy services, care & disease management, operating procedures, and medical practices & interpretations. Ensure compliance with accrediting standards and regulations related to health care services. Oversight of clinical analytics and reporting around clinical key performance drivers.
Minimum Qualifications
Formal Education Required:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio.
Experience and Training Required:
10+ years performing same or similar responsibilities. Relevant experience includes: demonstrated leadership experience in medical profession and health plan medical director or CMO roles, and expert knowledge of health care economics as it pertains to both clinical and managed care settings. Minimum 5+ years experience in Utilization Management and Quality Improvement initiatives also including HEDIS, NCQA and CMS STARs quality.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
