Expected pay for this position is $202.55 - $253.19/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of the Facility Chief Medical Officer (CMO) ensures high quality, patient-centered care by leading clinical and quality initiatives that support consistent clinical performance and practice standards across the hospital. The CMO facilitates the analysis of quality performance and prioritization improvement opportunities and consults on issues involving physicians. The CMO facilitates the analysis of quality performance management and prioritization improvement opportunities and consults on issues involving physicians. The CMO in coordination with Medical Directors is accountable to the Human Resources functions including recruitment, engagement, and performance management of Physicians. The CMO also contributes to overall hospital strategy and service line development to ensure quality management and promote optimum patient experience.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Experience

10 years clinical practice experience 4 years’ experience in a management role

Licensure/ Certification

Physician License to practice medicine in applicable state

Other Skills/ Knowledge

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Clinical risk management experience Good organizational skills
