Oculoplastics Specialist

The Department of Ophthalmology at NYU Langone Health is seeking a full-time faculty Ophthalmologist specializing in Oculoplastics. The position requires candidates to be ABO-eligible or ABO-certified with completed fellowship training in an ASOPRS program and eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York State.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing Oculoplastics services at the NYU Langone Hospitals and Ambulatory Care Centers.
  • Working with the division chief and educational leadership team to optimize academic and educational activities within Oculoplastics for residents, fellows, and medical students.
  • Pursuing scholarly activities in Oculoplastics, including publications and meeting presentations
Required
  • Be ABO-eligible or ABO-certified
  • Completed fellowship training in an ASOPRS program
  • Eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in New York State
Preferred
  • Applications from current American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) fellows will be considered

Oculoplastics Specialist

The Department of Ophthalmology at NYU Langone Health (NYULH) is currently seeking an Ophthalmologist specializing in Oculoplastics to join our full-time faculty. We will consider applications from current American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) fellows.

NYU Langone Health is one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers, devoted to providing excellence in patient care, education, and research. In addition to clinical qualifications, candidates should possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated expertise in all areas of the tripartite mission.

The candidate should be ABO-eligible or ABO-certified and have completed their fellowship training in an ASOPRS program. The candidate must be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in New York State.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Providing Oculoplastics services at the NYU Langone Hospitals and Ambulatory Care Centers.
  • Working with the division chief and educational leadership team to optimize academic and educational activities within Oculoplastics for residents, fellows, and medical students.
  • Pursuing scholarly activities in Oculoplastics, including publications and meeting presentations

Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and the requirements of NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Minimum salary is $300,000 per year. NYULH provides a generous suite of faculty benefits.
