Aviv Recovery
Provide medical leadership and oversight for the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) specializing in addiction medicine. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, conduct medical assessments, manage medications, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide medical leadership and oversight for our IOP program
- • Develop and implement policies and procedures that adhere to state and federal regulations and best practices in addiction medicine
- • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- • Provide medical assessments and medication management for patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
- • Provide ongoing training and education to the staff on addiction medicine and best practices in patient care
- • Work with the CEO, Compliance Officer, Clinical Director and Director of Operations to maintain accreditation and compliance with all regulatory agencies
- • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care for our patients
Required
- • Board certification in Addiction Medicine or experience in Addiction Medicine
- • Virginia state medical license in good standing (LNP)
- • Experience working with patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
- • Strong leadership and communication skills
- • Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
- • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to addiction medicine and patient care
