Medical Director (PSYCHIATRIST ONLY)
The Medical Director will provide strategic and clinical leadership across all medication management and psychiatric programs. This individual ensures CARF/COMAR compliance, supervises prescribing providers, and upholds medical integrity system-wide.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide psychiatric oversight to NPs and other prescribing clinicians
- • Lead monthly case reviews and chart audits
- • Implement quality and risk management protocols
- • Maintain collaboration/supervision per Maryland law
- • Lead clinical compliance during audits or site visits
Required
- • MD or DO, board-certified in Psychiatry
- • Active Maryland license
- • 5+ years clinical experience (outpatient preferred)
- • Experience supervising mid-level providers
