Physician specialists in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism provide consulting services by conducting quality reviews of patient medical records on an as-needed basis. This non-direct care role involves remote work with flexible hours and occasional assignments to ensure high quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality reviews of patient medical records as requested by Liberty Healthcare

Required
  • Active Indiana medical license
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism

For quality assurance purposes and to ensure the people we serve receive high quality healthcare services, Liberty Healthcare maintains a panel of physician specialists who are called upon occasionally to conduct quality reviews of patient medical records.

As Liberty Healthcare’s endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism consultant, you would apply your subject matter expertise on an as needed basis as requested by Liberty Healthcare.

This is a non-direct care role which does not involve patient care. Work hours are not guaranteed and can range between zero to ten quarterly.

You may accomplish this work remotely from your office or home on dates and at times are convenient to you.

You can expect to be paid an annual retainer and paid for each hour of consulting services you provide at an hourly rate that is consistent with your usual hourly billing rate.

To qualify, you must have an active Indiana medical license and be Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

Peer Review Experience Is Helpful But Not Required.
