The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, and create individualized treatment plans including medication management and psychotherapy. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care and respond to psychiatric crises while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate medical records.
Key Responsibilities
- • The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.
- • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications ensuring that treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed
- • The psychiatrist will create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions.
- • Chart audits, peer review, meetings, provider management, etc.
- • The psychiatrist will maintain up to date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care.
- • Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patients and their files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed.
- • The psychiatrist will work closely with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and staff to provide integrated and coordinated care.
- • Provide immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes, and work to prevent incidents through proactive mental health management
- • Endeavor to comply with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards and/or contract.
Required
- • Psychiatrist is required to be licensed in FL, interstate compact preferred
- • 2 years of inpatient experience (trauma experience required)
- • Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry
- • Valid and unrestricted DEA in FL
- • Must be proficient in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely

Remote Psychiatrist
Schedule: 7am - 7pm, weekdays and weekends
Compensation: based on experience and contract type
