The Department of Radiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking an ABR or AOBR certified or eligible radiologist with fellowship training in pediatric radiology to serve as our Director of the Division of Ultrasound. The preferred candidate must have experience and passion about the application of ultrasound in pediatric imaging. Strong interpersonal skills, and an interest in research are desirable.
The Department of Radiology has 43 clinical faculty members, 12 research PhDs, and one of the largest pediatric radiology fellowship programs in the country. We perform more than 35,000 diagnostic ultrasound examinations per year across 6 different sites of care, with a robust mix of standard and tertiary/quaternary cases. Clinical imaging equipment is state of the art and includes both General Electric and MindRay ultrasound systems. Research time and start-up funding are available. Opportunities for leadership development and quality improvement training are available.
