Required
- • Medical Doctor Degree.

- • Proficiency in bedside cardiac procedures.
- • Certification in BLS, ACLS.

Job Summary
The Department of Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor (HS) / Electrophysiology Cardiologist. The successful candidate will:
- Perform electrophysiology procedures, ablations, cardioversions.
- Implant pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders.
- Interpret Tilt Table tests.
- Assist with Pacemaker follow-up service.
- Provide patient care on the Cardiology/EP Service, admission and care of patients admitted to the Cardiology/EP Service.
- Provide medical care, including cardiac treatment, to patients.
- Provide medical care, including clinical cardiac consultation.
- Cover calls on nights, weekends and holidays.
- Participate in a medical resident and cardiology fellowship education.
