Electrophysiology Cardiologist, Clinical Assistant Professor (HS)
The role involves performing electrophysiology procedures including ablations and cardioversions, implanting cardiac devices such as pacemakers and ICDs, interpreting Tilt Table tests, and providing patient care on the Cardiology/EP Service. The position also includes assisting with pacemaker follow-up, covering calls during nights, weekends, and holidays, and participating in medical resident and cardiology fellowship education.
Key Responsibilities
- • Perform electrophysiology procedures, ablations, cardioversions.
- • Implant pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders.
- • Interpret Tilt Table tests.
- • Assist with Pacemaker follow-up service.
- • Provide patient care on the Cardiology/EP Service, admission and care of patients admitted to the Cardiology/EP Service.
- • Provide medical care, including cardiac treatment, to patients.
- • Provide medical care, including clinical cardiac consultation.
- • Cover calls on nights, weekends and holidays.
- • Participate in a medical resident and cardiology fellowship education.
Required
- • Medical Doctor Degree.
- • New York State Medical Licensure.
- • Board-certified or eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
- • Proficiency in bedside cardiac procedures.
- • Certification in BLS, ACLS.
