Key Responsibilities
- • Provide strategic leadership to the Pulmonary Critical Care section.
- • Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures.

- • Practice in and oversee the pulmonary clinic, ensuring high-quality outpatient care.
- • Lead the inpatient pulmonary consult service, providing expert consultation to hospitalized patients.
- • Direct bronchoscopy services, ensuring optimal diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes.
- • Manage the critical care unit, coordinating care for critically ill patients.
- • Oversee the sleep program, ensuring comprehensive evaluation and management of sleep disorders.
- • Function collaboratively with the Trauma and Critical Care Institute of WVU Medicine.
- • Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- • Participate in regular meetings with hospital leadership to ensure seamless integration of services.
- • Mentor and guide physicians and APPs within the Pulmonary Critical Care section.
- • Facilitate ongoing education and training to ensure the team stays abreast of the latest advancements in the field.
- • Encourage and support professional development activities for individual team members.
Required
- • Applicants must be Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
