Physician - Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents with a wide range of behavioral, emotional, and developmental conditions. Supervise and teach psychiatry residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers while working within multidisciplinary teams. Develop and expand child and adolescent behavioral health programs, including integrated care and specialty clinics, with flexible schedules and telepsychiatry options.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents with a wide range of behavioral, emotional, and developmental conditions
- • Supervise and teach psychiatry residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers
- • Work within multidisciplinary teams including APPs, Psychiatry PharmD, clinical psychologists, social workers, counselors, and care coordinators
- • Develop and expand child and adolescent behavioral health programs, including integrated care and specialty clinics
- • Tailor practice interests across child and adolescent psychiatry subspecialty areas, including mood disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, trauma, and comorbid medical conditions
Required
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
- • Must have or be willing to obtain Louisiana medical licensure
