Prompt Care Physician in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois
This role involves serving a busy urgent care practice with a growing patient base across three nearby office locations. The physician will work alongside APPs and other physicians in a model with two providers per location, covering prompt care clinic hours Monday through Friday and rotating weekends and holidays, with shifts typically lasting twelve hours three times a week.
Key Responsibilities
- • Serve patients at three office locations in the Bloomington-Normal, Illinois area.
- • Work in a practice model including APPs and physicians with two providers staffing each location daily.
- • Cover prompt care clinic hours Monday-Friday, 8am – 8pm with weekend and holiday rotations between the three office locations.
- • Work typical shifts of twelve hours, three times a week.
- • Opportunity to work extra shifts for additional pay if desired.
Required
- • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
- • Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

- Busy urgent care practice seeks a Family, Urgent or Emergency Medicine physician to serve our well-established practice with a growing patient base in the twin cities of Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. The practice currently sees patients at three (3) office locations which are only a few miles apart.
- Practice model includes a combination of APP’s and physicians with two providers staffing each location daily.
- Prompt care clinic hours are Mon-Friday, 8am – 8pm with weekend and holiday rotations between the three office locations. A typical shift would be twelve hours, three times a week. There are also opportunities to work extra shifts for additional pay if desired.

- Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $305,000-$325,000.
- Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
