Emergency Medicine Physician in Peoria, Illinois
This role involves working as an Emergency Medicine Physician at an academic level 1 trauma center with an emergency medicine residency program. Physicians have the option to work across multiple hospital settings with varying patient volumes and utilize a fully integrated EPIC EMR system.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide emergency medicine care at OSF St. Francis Medical Center and potentially other hospital settings within the system
- • Work in an academic environment with an emergency medicine residency program
- • Participate in patient care at a level 1 trauma center and critical care access hospital settings
- • Utilize the fully integrated EPIC EMR system
Required
- • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

- Seeking additional BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physicians at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois
- Full-time position with flexible scheduling, part-time and PRN opportunities available
- Academic, level 1 trauma center with an emergency medicine residency program through the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP)
- Option to work at multiple hospital settings, ranging from a critical care access hospital with 7,000 annual visits to a busy level 1 trauma center with 82,000 annual visits or a combination of both

- Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $461,760-$592,800.
- Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
