Provide high-quality, immediate urgent care for non-life-threatening conditions in a fast-paced, supportive outpatient environment. Collaborate with a team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to deliver timely, compassionate care and refer patients to specialists as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- • Consult with patients to assess urgent care needs and determine appropriate treatment plans
- • Recommend and order diagnostic tests to evaluate illnesses and injuries
- • Monitor lab results and medication adherence
- • Prescribe treatments, therapies, medications, and vaccinations as necessary
- • Educate patients and families on procedures, test results, and treatment options
- • Refer patients to specialists when needed
- • Actively participate in hospital committees and initiatives
- • Collaborate with and supervise APPs to enhance patient care
Required
- • MD or DO degree
- • Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related field
- • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
- • Proven experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settings
- • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

- • Full-time: 15 shifts per month - 1 shift: 10 hours
- • APP Supervision: $12,000 per year per 1.0 FTE APP
- • Signing Bonus: up to $30,000
- • Retention Bonus (beginning at the completion of the 2nd year): up to $30,000 per year
- • Relocation bonus: Up to $10,000 (based on location)

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM & Saturday-Sunday & Holidays, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
- Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only
- Daily Patient Census: Average 20-40 patients per day
- Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art medical equipment and comprehensive resources
