Key Responsibilities
- • Conduct detailed patient assessments to diagnose allergic and immunologic conditions accurately.
- • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including immunotherapy and medication management.
- • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as skin prick tests, pulmonary function tests, and laboratory evaluations.
- • Educate patients and families on disease management, prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
- • Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- • Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Required
- • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- • Board certification or eligibility in Allergy and Immunology.
- • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in California.
- • Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
- • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and managing allergic and immunologic disorders.
Preferred
- • Fellowship training specifically in Allergy and Immunology.
- • Experience working in outpatient specialty clinics or hospital settings.
- • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in clinical practice.
- • Strong background in patient education and community health initiatives.
- • Research experience or involvement in clinical trials related to allergy and immunology.
