This role involves providing hospitalist services in a transitioning freestanding emergency department now developing into a community hospital. The staffing model includes 12 hours of in-person physician coverage and 12 hours of night APP coverage supported by telemedicine physicians, with a team consisting of one in-house physician, one telemedicine physician, and one APP provider.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide hospitalist services in a freestanding emergency department transitioning into a community hospital
- • Work 12 hours of in-person physician coverage
- • Collaborate with night APP coverage supported by 12 hours of telemedicine physician support
- • Participate as part of a hospitalist team with 1 physician in-house, 1 physician telemedicine, and 1 APP provider
- • APP acts as a dedicated night provider
