The Primary Care physician / Attending Physician is responsible for planning, diagnostic development, management, and evaluation of medical services at the employee clinic. The role involves providing continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to outpatients with an average daily patient volume of 20 and no call requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provides and maintains JHS Standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to JHS outpatients.
- • Primary Care with average daily patient volume of 20.
Required
- • Doctorate degree in Medicine
- • Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience.
- • Valid Florida Medical License.
- • DEA and board certification or eligible in Family Medicine.
- • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.
Preferred
- • Other specialty certifications related to specialty are a plus.
- • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Ambulatory & Physician Services Division is a growing multi-specialty physician network of physicians and specialists who practice throughout Miami-Dade County at many different specialty care centers, seek to hire a primary care physician (Family Medicine) to join our highly regarded multi-specialty practice to open our first clinic Jackson Health System Employee & Dependents Clinic in Miami-Dade County to serve Jackson Health System employees and their families.

- Provides and maintains JHS Standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to JHS outpatients.
- Primary Care with average daily patient volume of 20.

Doctorate degree in Medicine is required.
Experience
Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience.
License/Certification
