Emergency Medicine Physician
Physicians will provide emergency medical care at multiple Baptist Neighborhood Hospital locations, working 12-hour shifts with 24 hours of physician coverage per day. The role involves working in a newly constructed facility with a 10-bed emergency department and an annual volume of 16,000 patients, focusing on evidence-based medicine and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- • Rotate shifts between multiple Baptist Neighborhood Hospital locations
- • Provide emergency medical care in a 10-bed emergency department
- • Work 12-hour shifts with 24 hours of physician coverage per day
- • Utilize evidence-based Clinical Management Tools and collaborate with experienced physicians available 24/7/365
- • Participate in onboarding and ongoing support through dedicated Clinician Advocates and annual assemblies
Required
- • BC/BP in emergency medicine, or BC/BP in a primary specialty (family medicine or internal medicine) with recent experience
- • Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- • Emergency medicine experience
