The role involves interpreting radiography and advanced imaging results, performing interventional breast procedures, and coordinating patient care activities. The physician will communicate imaging results to patients and physicians, participate in continuing education, and engage in medical group and leadership meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- • Order or interpret radiography and advanced imaging results.
- • Perform interventional breast procedures.
- • Refer patients to medical specialists, social services or other professionals as appropriate.
- • Participate in continuing education activities to maintain license certification and enhance knowledge skills.
- • Direct, coordinate, or supervise the patient care activities of nursing or support services.
- • Communicate with patients' and physicians regarding imaging results.
- • Medical Group meetings, Leadership meetings and Physician committees upon request.
- • Work in a modern environment including audio-dictation, EMR, and digital radiology.
- • Other duties as assigned.
Required
- • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- • Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice.
- • Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
- • Current medical license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- • Certification by the American Board of Radiology, or board eligible.
- • Act 33 with renewal
- • Act 34 with renewal
- • Act 73 FBI Clearance
- • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the America Heart Association (CPR and AED) program.
Preferred
- • Two (2) to Four (4) years’ experience in Women's Imaging

- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but will serve as a leader of a medical team.
- Incumbent will be scheduled based on operational needs, Monday through Friday Daylight.
