This full-time gastroenterologist role involves providing diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology services in a fully office-based practice with no hospital ER responsibility. The position includes performing endoscopic procedures such as EGDs, colonoscopies, and ERCPs, and working collaboratively in a multi-specialty environment with care coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- • Full-Time position, fully office-based practice with no Hospital ER responsibility
- • Joining an established and reputable GI practice with ample support staff, including seasoned Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of GI experience
- • OR time at Fisherman’s Hospital and Mariner’s Hospital
- • Candidates will have a background in disorders of Functional GI disorders, preventive GI care including colorectal cancer screening
- • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology services
- • Perform endoscopic procedures in accordance with hospital privileges
- • Ability and expertise in EGDs, colonoscopies, and ERCPs
- • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a min a multi-specialty environment, including care coordination with primary care, surgeons, etc.
Required
- • MD/DO from an accredited institution
- • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- • Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure)
- • Provide references focusing on quality, excellent patient centered-care, bedside manner and professional demeanor, and collaboration in multidisciplinary team environment
Preferred
- • Background in disorders of Functional GI disorders, preventive GI care including colorectal cancer screening
