General Surgery -Breast Physician
Join an established group of surgeons focusing on breast surgery within a certified cancer treatment center. The role involves working in a 180-bed primary hospital with a Level III Trauma Center, supported by a full staff including PAs, surgical residents, and medical students, with some travel for regional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- • Join an established group of 15 Surgeons and 6 Advanced Practice Clinicians
- • Work within a Certified Cancer Treatment Center based in Cooperstown with multiple regional centers for diagnostic and treatment options
- • Operate in a 180 Bed Primary Hospital with Level III Trauma Center
- • Utilize an instant referral base provided by over 500 Network Clinicians
- • Collaborate with full support staff including PA's with Surgical Residents and Medical Student Interaction
- • Travel regionally for patient care
- • Use state of the art OR's with one devoted to the Xi DaVinci Surgical System
- • No General Surgery Call Required
- • Share call coverage for Breast Surgery patients

- • MD, DO or MBBS
- • Board Eligible or Board Certified
- • NYS Licensure
- • BLS Certification Required

- Salary Range: $355,000-$382,698.00 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
- Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
