Urgent Care Physician - Full Time - St. Louis - Creve Coeur
The Physician role involves independently providing a wide range of clinical services including examining and treating patients with acute conditions, making diagnoses, prescribing medications, performing minor procedures, and supervising advanced practice providers. The position offers flexible scheduling in a fast-paced, patient-focused urgent care setting with opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- • Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
- • Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
- • Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
- • Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
- • Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care
- • Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
- • Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting
Required
- • Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
- • Active state medical license
- • 2 years of post-residency clinical experience, ideally in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
- • Experience treating patients across all age groups
- • Strong communication and listening skills
- • Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers
