Key Responsibilities
- • Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
- • Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
- • Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
- • Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
- • Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care
- • Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
- • Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting
Required
- • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
- • Active state medical license
- • 2–5 years of post-residency clinical experience, with at least 18 months in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
- • Experience treating patients across all age groups
- • Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
- • Strong communication and listening skills
- • Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers
