Sound Physicians
Lead an established Intensivist team to ensure the highest quality of care in the ICU and community. Collaborate within the ICU and across the hospital to promote continuous improvement and accountability in critical care services. Manage a schedule averaging 12 clinical shifts per month, balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Required
- • Board-certified Critical Care physician (MD or DO)
- • Must have a minimum of 10 years of post-fellowship critical care experience with at least 3 years of prior ICU medical director experience
- • A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting

Local Team Collaboration
- Team is composed of 5 physicians providing care in the 16-bed medical/surgical/cardiac ICU
- Integral part of the larger care team at this 220-bed teaching hospital
- Serving the families of Brooklyn for more than 130 years
- Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth transitions of care. Many of our team members are active in several committees including stroke, sepsis, and practice guidelines

- Annual compensation range, based on shift number and experience, $500,000 - $600,000
