Trauma Surgery Opportunity at Level II Trauma Hospital

Join an established Trauma group at Northside’s only Level II Trauma Center, working in a high acuity environment with a light call schedule and a large team. The role involves managing traumatic injuries and complex surgical cases, participating in on-call coverage, and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of traumatic injuries and complex surgical cases
  • Participate in on-call coverage and respond to trauma activations
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide patient-centered care with compassion and empathy
Required
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • BC/BE in General Surgery and/or Surgical Critical Care
  • Fellowship training or extensive experience in Trauma Surgery
  • Valid state of Georgia medical license and DEA registration
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the management of traumatic injuries and complex surgical cases
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to participate in on-call coverage and respond to trauma activations
