Accelerated Urgent Care
The role involves practicing urgent care medicine in twelve-hour shifts, providing full-spectrum care to patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics in a low-acuity setting. The physician will manage mid-level providers and perform common urgent care procedures while utilizing in-house diagnostic equipment and an efficient EMR system.
Key Responsibilities
- • Urgent Care Medicine practices twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
- • Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing 4 mid-level providers.
- • Part-time is a minimum of 6 shifts per month, and managing up to 4 mid-level providers.
- • Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.
- • Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
- • Equipment: We offer In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-rays.
- • A Board-Certified Radiologist overreads all X-rays, and results are available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
- • Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute.
Required
- • Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- • Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
- • CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
- • DEA Certificate

1099: Full-time, Part-time, & PRN Available
Salary: $150/hour
Bonus: $50,000 Sign-On for Full-Time Only
Stipend: $60,000/year for Medical Directorship
