The Palliative Care Attending Physician will provide direct clinical care in inpatient consultative and ambulatory settings, participate in innovative palliative care projects, and teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows. The role may include directing the Hospice and Palliative Fellowship and involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities

- • Participate in local, regional, and national innovative palliative care projects
- • Work at the main teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine where a priority is placed on teaching and mentoring outstanding medical students, residents, and fellows
- • Interested and qualified candidate could be a Hospice and Palliative Fellowship director
- • Strong interest in outpatient palliative care and outreach program to community is welcome but not required

Tufts Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. A Tufts University School of Medicine appointment will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications. You will also receive Substantive retirement plan, CME Funds and Time Away, Generous Vacation and Holiday Policy
The salary range for this position is $230,4916 to $261,334 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
