Envoy Emergency Medicine Physician
Provide emergency medicine care at a Level I trauma center and acute care hospital with a high-volume emergency department. Work includes coverage across multiple shifts with APP support and collaboration with various specialty backup services.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide emergency medicine care in a Level I trauma center with multiple ER ambulance bays and helicopter landing pads
- • Manage patients in a 40-bed emergency department including a Rapid Care Path
- • Work 40 hours of physician coverage daily across shifts: 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, 8p-6a
- • Collaborate with APP coverage daily
- • Utilize Meditech EMR system
- • Coordinate with backup specialties including Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Labor and Delivery, OBGYN, Neurology, Orthopedic, Pulmonary, Surgery, and Urology

- Avg Annual ED Volume: 42k-46k
- PPH: 2.5-3.5
- Trauma Designation: Level I, with multiple ER ambulance bays and two helicopter landing pads
- STEMI: Level I
- ED Beds: 40 beds including Rapid Care Path
- 40-hours of physician coverage daily: 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, 8p-6a and will be adding a shift.
- APP coverage daily
