Ortho Surgeon

The Orthopedic Surgeon will diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate patients with musculoskeletal diseases, disorders, and injuries. The role involves performing thorough examinations, developing individualized treatment plans including surgical and non-surgical interventions, and monitoring patient progress to enhance recovery and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough examinations and assessments to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions accurately.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, encompassing surgical and non-surgical interventions, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Utilize advanced surgical techniques to address orthopedic issues, ensuring optimal patient safety and outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to promote recovery and enhance quality of life.
  • Educate patients and their families on preventive measures, rehabilitation exercises, and post-operative care guidelines.
Required
  • Medical doctorate degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of postgraduate training in orthopedic surgery.
  • Board certification in orthopedic surgery in the state of Illinois.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in surgical procedures and clinical management of orthopedic conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
