How you’ll make an impact in this role

We are seeking a psychiatrist for Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo Trinity Center. The Trinity House is a medical facility that provides an array of medical and mental health services to adults and adolescents.

This is a Behavioral Health Facility with a full continuum of care for adults with a 16 Bed Adult Inpatient unit, Adult IOP and traditional outpatient clinic for mental health and addiction, Adult Recovery Maintenance, Relapse and Continuing Care Groups, Adult Mental Health Wellness and Emotional Regulation Groups. Traditional outpatient clinic for children and adolescents

Kids (5th-8th grade) and Teens (9th -12th grade) Coping Groups

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to providing

direct patient care, treatment oversight and administrative duties. The medical director will be responsible for ensuring medical services meet the required standards of care and serving as the Collaborative for mid-level practitioners. Trinity has an inpatient-department, outpatient department and an IOP/PHP department. The continued growth of those services to serve our community require a medical director to oversee these programs

and help facilitate that growth while maintaining an outpatient schedule.

Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is a 129-bed hospital providing a range of healthcare services and resources to residents of Howard County that are typically only found in larger metropolitan areas.

As part of the Ascension St. Vincent Indiana Heart Attack Network, our emergency care team is available 24-7. - Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo provides personalized maternity services with experienced OB-GYNs, prenatal care nurse educators and a team to make the birth of your child as comfortable and memorable as possible.

Our orthopedic surgery and recovery Joint Success Program is an example of our tailored approach that has led to positive outcomes.

Onsite services include physical and occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, a full-service lab, respiratory therapy, Wound Healing Center, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, x-ray, fluoroscopy, DEXA, digital mammography, and breast biopsy.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s)

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  
  

Preferred Credential(s)

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  
  

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
