Orthopedic Surgeon

The Orthopedic Surgeon will support the expansion of the Orthopedic Surgery program focusing on total shoulders, proximal humerus fractures, and lower extremity fractures. The role involves providing high-quality clinic and surgical care within a stable, well-supported health system known for physician satisfaction and long-term retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on total shoulder procedures
  • Manage proximal humerus and lower extremity fractures
  • Provide both clinic and surgical orthopedic services
  • Assist with Orthopedic call coverage
  • Contribute to clinical program development and community outreach
Required
  • Demonstrated expertise in Orthopedic Surgery diagnoses: assessment, intervention, and patient care management
  • Knowledgeable regarding an Orthopedic Surgeon scope of practice
  • Demonstrated ability to perform total shoulder procedures and manage proximal humerus and lower extremity fractures
  • Experience in the interpretation of radiological exams including x-ray, MRI, CT, etc.
  • Experience providing both clinic and surgical orthopedic services
  • Willingness and ability to assist with Orthopedic call coverage
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and conflict resolution abilities
  • Current California Medical license
  • Graduate from an accredited Medical School
  • Graduate from an accredited Orthopedic Surgery program
  • Evidence of continuing education and self-development to support license requirements
  • Board Certified or Eligible from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery

PIH Health is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing team and support the expansion of our Orthopedic Surgery program in the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate will focus on total shoulders, proximal humerus fractures, and lower extremity fractures, while providing high-quality clinic and surgical care.

Compensation Range:$550K-$700K Annually
