The MD Hospitalist OB-GYN role involves providing hospitalist obstetric and gynecologic care in a collaborative environment with experienced nursing staff and pediatric hospitalists supporting newborn care. The position supports a Level III B nursery with dedicated OB anesthesia and two OB operating rooms, utilizing Epic EMR.
Key Responsibilities
- • Work collaboratively with Certified Nurse Midwives and across departments
- • Provide hospitalist OB-GYN care including support for newborn care with 24/7 Pediatric Hospitalists
- • Operate within a certified OB Emergency Department
- • Utilize Epic EMR for patient care documentation

PeaceHealth has a per diem/relief opening for a MD Hospitalist OB-GYN to support our Bellingham, Washington location.
PeaceHealth has been serving the communities of northwest Washington since 1890 with PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center, now a 253-bed, two-campus hospital providing a Level II Trauma Center and a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. PeaceHealth's Whatcom Region also includes the comprehensive heart care services of the Cardiovascular Center at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center as well as the primary and specialty care provided by PeaceHealth Medical Group.
