Required
- • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
- • Active, unrestricted MD/DO Pennsylvania license or ability to obtain one required
- • Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with prescriptive authority
- • Ability to pass credentialing and background check

We are currently seeking a per diem Cardiologist to provide non-direct care to the Bureau of Procurement within the Department of Generalized Services located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This position is short term, approximately 6 months, to provide expert witness record review and testimony and can be done remotely.
The Cardiologist is expected to provide medical review, analysis, and possible expert testimony concerning an application for the payment of line of duty death benefits under 53 P.S. § 891 (the “Emergency and Law Enforcement Personnel Death Benefits Act.”) It is estimated that the physician’s services will be required between March and September 2026.
Qualifications• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Active, unrestricted MD/DO Pennsylvania license or ability to obtain one required
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with prescriptive authority
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
