Provide Infectious Disease consultation to adult patients in a clinic setting with an interdisciplinary approach. Participate in a rotating weekly phone-based call system to manage urgent patient communications, emergency department visits, hospital admissions, and panic lab values. Engage in teaching and training of students, residents, and medical staff during elective rotations.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide Infectious Disease Consultation to adult patients on-site in clinic with an interdisciplinary approach.
- • Participate in a rotating weekly phone-based call system to handle urgent patient communications, ED visits, hospital admissions, panic lab values, etc.
- • Precept students, residents, and other medical staff during elective rotations at Trillium Health.
- • Obtain 100 or more CME credits every two years to remain eligible for medical staff credentialing and commercial insurance credentialing.
- • Complete all clinical documentation within 3 business days of medical treatment.
- • Conduct Ongoing Peer Reviews on a quarterly basis and Focused Peer Reviews as assigned.
- • Perform duties related to quality assurance and other administrative tasks as required.

Required
- • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required.
Preferred
- • M.D. or D.O. Degree and Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine, with a Fellowship in Infectious Disease.
- • HIV specialist physicians as credentialed by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

Purpose: Trillium Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Physician specializing in Infectious Diseases to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in our licensed diagnostic and treatment center under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer.
