Staff Physician - Family Medicine
The Staff Physician provides primary care services to adult patients in a licensed diagnostic and treatment center, including care for diverse populations such as patients with HIV, Hep C, and LGBTQ. The role involves participation in a rotating 7-day phone-based call system for urgent patient communications, mentoring students and residents, and completing clinical documentation promptly while engaging in quality assurance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide primary care to adult patients on-site in the clinic, including women’s health for diverse populations such as patients with HIV, Hep C, and LGBTQ.
- • Participate in a rotating 7-day phone-based call system for urgent patient communications, ED visits, hospital admissions, and panic lab values.
- • Mentor students, residents, and other medical staff during elective rotations at Trillium Health.
- • Obtain 50 or more CME credits per year to remain eligible for medical staff credentialing and commercial insurance crediting.
- • Complete all clinical documentation within 3 days of medical treatment.
- • Participate in ongoing and focused peer reviews, quality assurance, and meeting attendance.
- • Demonstrate commitment to inclusiveness and diversity, respecting individuals of different backgrounds, cultures, races, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, experiences, and opinions.
- • Maintain confidentiality of all patients, client, employee, protected, and proprietary information.
Required
- • M.D. or D.O. Degree and Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine.
- • Excellent verbal and written English Communication skills required.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
